None of our music groups or choirs are meeting at the moment because of the lockdown. Check back to this website for updates. In the meantime, have a look at our MC online page to access all our online resources for free - come and join us for a virtual sing-a-long!
Music Groups and Community Choirs
Our weekly community music groups and choirs are open to everyone. Every range of ability is catered for in our person-centred approach, and no musical training or experience is necessary – although we are always interested if you have a particular love of a certain style or genre, or if you can play an instrument already. If you have any questions, or would like to discuss whether this could work for you or a relative, don't hesitate to give us a call, or drop us an email – we are very quick to respond.
We ask for a voluntary donation of £4 per session.
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss whether this could work for you or a relative, don't hesitate to contact us.
Music Groups in GP Surgeries
Our groups in York Medical Group surgeries are mainly open to those who are registered at the surgery, though we may be able to accommodate you if you're not a patient at the surgery, so please get in touch.
Music groups in Care Homes
Our groups in care homes are only open to the residents of the care home, but we welcome visitors. If you have a relative or friend living in the home and would like to come along and join in, please turn up whenever you wish. Our groups run during term-time.

‘It’s like after you’ve had a shower – you come out and you feel great!’
“She looked happy today which was lovely for me to see, a flower in bloom, full of life where normally it's just the opposite - so thank you again.”
