We’re thrilled to share our latest video with you! Each year, we create a video featuring all of our incredible members, and this year is no exception. Our latest collaborative recording included all of our groups, and our intergenerational partners including university students, charities & schools! It really shows how many people we work with and how much fun we have!
We are hugely grateful to the Postcode Neighbourhood Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People's Postcode Lottery, who recently granted us £15,000 to enable us to help more vulnerable older people in York to get involved in musical activities with their wider community.
Fancy joining us? You can find all of the information about joining our groups here. Please use the contact page to get in touch with us if you would like any additional information. Our contact page is carefully monitored and you should hear from us within a day or two. Alternatively, you can send us a letter and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Musical Connections is a registered charity number 1165993.
Our amazing trustee Trev is running the York 10K for Musical Connections! 🏃♀️
Trev Broughton, one of our dedicated trustees, is taking on the York 10K this August to raise vital funds for our charity. Not only is she doing this as part of her milestone birthday celebrations, but she’s also seen first-hand the impact of our work - her own mother has recently found joy and friendship through our groups.
Musical Connections brings people together through the power of music, helping to combat isolation and build strong, supportive communities. Every donation will help us continue making a difference in people’s lives.

Thank you, Trev—we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! 🎶🏃♀️
