We run participatory music sessions and projects for older, isolated and vulnerable people in care and community settings across York. We also run a large programme of intergenerational events and activities, which bring together our beneficiaries with local schoolchildren and students. We provide free transport for anyone who needs it, and are supported by a team of dedicated volunteers.
As restrictions have eased, we're now running a full schedule of sessions across the city:
Acomb Singers: Mondays at Acomb Methodist Church @ 1.00-2.30pm
Rolling Tones: Tuesdays at Tang Hall Community Centre @ 10.15-11.45am
Honeysuckle Singers: Wednesdays at St Edward the Confessor Church @ 10.00-11.30am
Tower Court Singers: Wednesdays at St. Joseph's Church Hall @ 1.00-2.30pm
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to join one of the above groups, or if you have any questions about the sessions. Alternatively, you can watch all of our groups in action in our latest triumph; a collaborative recording for #MakeMusicDay.
