About musicalconnections

Louisa Gard is the founder member of musicalconnections and is generously supported by Business Gateway and the Headley-Pitt Trust Fund. She is a classically trained professional flautist and performs throughout the UK and Europe.

Having recently completed her postgraduate studies at The Royal Academy of Music, London she has performed as a soloist and chamber musician for a variety of concert organisers. She regularly performs at weddings, corporate events, funerals and functions at a number of prestigious venues including The Balmoral Hotel (Edinburgh), Edinburgh Castle, Keavil House Hotel (Fife), Mar Hall (Glasgow), Holyrood Park (Edinburgh), The Hilton Hotel (Dundee), Claridge's (London), Grosvenor House Hotel (London) and Leez Priory (Essex).

Future engagements include a flute and organ recital (Duo da Chiesa) in the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, a concert at Wester Kerk (Amsterdam) including a rare performance of Piet Kee's solo flute piece "Flight" and a flute and harp recital for the Hoddesdon Music Club.

Louisa set up musicalconnections to provide quality musicians to all types of occasion. Now based in Edinburgh, Louisa has lived and worked in the South-east, London and Cardiff and has built up an unrivalled network of musical contacts from all round the UK. Due to this, she can arrange musicians to suit your event wherever you happen to be. Recent engagements have included venues in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee, the Borders, Hertfordshire and Warwickshire.
